I was thinking for a bit. About what? About us. People. I was thinking – “What if the end of the world eventually come? Are we even worth saving?“. Thing is – look at us. Look like we live. How many of us, ordinary people, don’t really have any serious dream, some kind of purpose, if I have to say it like this. Just how many times we find ourselves just sitting by, thinking this ain’t worth it. How many times we suffer from loneliness, hopelessness, or even despair? We live our everyday lives, on and on, and nothing changes. We are drowning in a stereotype, but we are too tired to change something. We cling to things, which are not even important, such as school, career or money. So if the end would really come, and there would actually be a ray of hope for our salvation, would it be even worth fighting for? Would it be worth fighting, just to return to our casual lives? To return to so many things we actually hate? The answer is simple. HELL YES. And why? Because in this big, nasty mess called life, there are still so many beautifull things and moments. It’s the smalles things, you probably won’t even notice, but you would miss the the most if you should lose them. The things like when you go out in the evening, and you feel subtle breeze of the wind, which is not hot, nor cold. It’s when you breathe in the fresh air after a long day, and you suddenly feel somehow refreshed. The moments, when you say something, what is not even funny, but the other person start laughing anyway, not because of what you said, but because it was you who said it. These little, yet priceless things are why it is all worth fighting for, why we all just go on, push forward, no matter the failures. We should never stop believing.
