Gortoz A Ran is a song by Denez Prigent and Lisa Gerard. It's (probably) French , and it means " I Await ".
But why am I writing a blog with title holding a name of a song?
When i went out today , I taught I'll meet a lot of people, hang out , have a chat with somebody .. have a nice time , be in a good mood and stuff like that.
Well, it didn't happen. I had a strange feeling , something like my body wasn't mine , my identity didn't belong to me .. I felt like flying in higher spheres. It may sound good , but I didn't feel good at all. So I wnt home , quiet early.
I took a bus. But had to wait , because didn't catch the first one. I listened to the music playing in my headphones, but it wasn't the right stuff. So I took my mp3 , and tried to find something better. And I did.
It was the (already mentioned) Gortoz A Ran .
I got in a bus and caught my place. The weather was weird. It was about to rain , and the wind blew pretty hard. But I was just a spectator.
When I reached my stop , I went out. Listening to Gortoz A Ran over again and again. Suddenly I realized, I wasn't a part of the world around me anymore. I was just a spectator. Again. The time stopped , the wind was blowing hard, but it didn't touch my body. As if I wasn't a part of this world anymore.
Those feelings made me realize , it's just a feeling of stopped time, not a real stop (of course). But it would be easy to believe I'm untouchable by any element , could walk unseen , and similar stuff. I "woke up" and focused on the world around me again soon enough.. luckily.
There is a number of songs , which are able to "stop time". Gortoz A Ran is one of them. In my opinion , it's a sign of a significant song.
Conclusion? Sorry , It's just an embarassing blog about a low feeling made by a great song. Crap , but there are even worse blogs, so who gives a fuck?
